Privacy Policy — MySalahh

MySalahh ("the app") is designed to work primarily on your device, without requiring an account or sign-in. This policy explains what limited data is processed and why.

Data We Process

1. Location

When you use features such as prayer times, Qibla direction, or the "Nearest Mosques" tool, the app accesses your device's precise location.

• Prayer time and Qibla calculations happen entirely on your device and are never sent anywhere.
• The "Nearest Mosques" feature sends your coordinates to the OpenStreetMap Overpass API (a public, third-party map data service) to retrieve nearby mosque locations. This request is anonymous and is not linked to your identity.
• The app only requests location while you are using it. It does not access your location in the background.

2. Advertising

MySalahh shows rewarded ads only — short video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for unlocking a feature or earning additional content. The app never shows banner or interstitial ads, and no ad is ever shown without you tapping to start it.

Ads are delivered by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier (the Advertising ID on Android, or the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS) along with technical information such as your device type, operating system version, and approximate region derived from your IP address. This information may be shared with Google and its advertising partners to measure and personalize ads, including across other apps and websites.

Your control over ads:

• On iOS, the app asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before your identifier is used for tracking. If you decline, you will still see rewarded ads, but they will not be personalized.
• In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app presents a Google-certified consent form (Google UMP) before any ads are requested. You can change your choice at any time from the app's Settings screen.
• On any device, you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your system settings.
• Purchasing MySalahh Premium removes the need to watch ads to unlock features.

3. Subscription / Purchase Information

MySalahh offers an optional "MySalahh Premium" subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android) and are managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, app-specific identifier and your purchase/subscription status to manage entitlements. No name, email, or other personal identity is shared with RevenueCat.

4. Photos

If you choose to set a profile picture, the photo you select is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to any server.

5. Notifications

Prayer time reminders and other in-app notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification token or device identifier is sent to any remote server for this purpose.

Data We Do Not Collect

MySalahh does not require account creation or sign-in, does not ask for your name or email address, and does not sell your personal information. Apart from the advertising data described in Section 2, the app does not use third-party analytics or user-profiling services.

Cloud Sync (Optional, Currently Inactive)

The app contains optional infrastructure to sync your activity data (such as saved content) across devices via a cloud database. This feature is not currently enabled in the released app. If enabled in the future, this policy will be updated to describe what is synced and how it is protected.

Children's Privacy

MySalahh does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is rated for general audiences and contains no age-restricted content, and it is not directed to children.

Your Choices

• You can deny location permission at any time in your device settings; features that depend on location (prayer times based on your current location, Qibla, Nearest Mosques) will not work correctly without it, but the rest of the app remains usable.
• You can withdraw or change your advertising consent at any time from the app's Settings screen (where a consent form is required in your region).
• You can opt out of personalized ads through your device's system settings.
